Dr. Christopher Stief founded DATA CENTER PARTNERS in 2021 and leads the business as its Chief Executive. Christopher is a Data Center expert with +10 years of industry experience. He has proven track records from large colocation- and hyperscale developments to aggregate more than 250 MW, primarily across Tier 1 and Tier 2 European data center markets.
Christopher was previously a Senior Director at a leading family office in Germany, where he was commercially responsible for Data Center site origination, development and execution for the firm’s digital infrastructure fund. Prior to that, Christopher worked as Executive Project Manager to CEO at e-shelter (acquired by NTT Global Data Centers EMEA), a leading international Data Center operator, where he focused on site identification and development.
Christopher earned a bachelor‘s degree in economics from the Ludwig- Maximilians-University of Munich, a master’s degree in business administrati on from the Alliant University of San Diego (California) and a doctoral degree (PhD) from Johannes Gutenberg-University of Mainz in business administration.
Philipp Riemen

Philipp Riemen, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at DATA CENTER PARTNERS, is a highly accomplished finance expert with extensive experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, corporate finance, and investor relations. He plays a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy and operational foundation of our company. His expertise spans the banking, energy, and data center industries, where he has successfully navigated complex financial structures and secured strategic investments.
He began his career in corporate banking after studying business administration, gaining fundamental expertise in financial structuring and capital markets. He advanced into leadership positions at Sal. Oppenheim and WestLB, where he specialized in investment strategies, corporate finance, and M&A transactions. Building on this extensive background, he transitioned to MVV Energie AG, where he took on increasing responsibilities and most recently served as Head of Finance & Investor Relations, overseeing financial planning and investor communication at a corporate level.
In October 2023, he joined Data Center Group as CFO, where he has been instrumental in optimizing financial processes, securing investments, and driving expansion initiatives. His leadership and strategic foresight were further recognized in March 2024, when he was appointed CFO of Data Center Partners, strengthening his influence in the data center and digital infrastructure industry. With his deep understanding of investment planning, regulatory compliance, and financial optimization, he ensures that Edge Data Centers, Colocation Facilities, and Hyperscale Data Centers are developed with financial strength and long-term stability.
